Football Booster  - 2016 Region Champions 


Stanley Pritchett, Arabia Mountain
Stanley Pritchett of Arabia Mountain is the Region 5 AAAAA Coach of the year. Pritchett's Rams finished the season 9-3, the best record in school history. Also, the Rams won the programs first ever playoff game. Pritchett, an Atlanta native, and Douglass High graduate played nine seasons in the NFL as a fullback.

The practice schedule for the week of 9/4 is as follows:

WED:  Morning Workout 6:00AM

Weight Room 3:30-4:15pm / Practice 4:30-6:45pm.

THRS:  4:30PM  -6:00PM

The GAME SCHEDULE is as follows:

THURSDAY, September 7th - JV vs Columbia, Avondale Stadium @ 5PM – Cost $5

FRIDAY, September 8th - VARSITY vs Dacula in Dacula @ 7:30PM   

Cost $5 for Students and $7 for Adults

SPIRIT BUS FOR DACULA GAME:

AMHS Students – Cost $15 Includes:  Transportation, ticket and a light snack with a drink.

Tickets will go on sale during lunch on Tuesday, September 5th.

2ND GEAR ORDER
The next gear order is scheduled to arrive by September 15th.

FUNDRAISER

            Saturday, September 16th: Applebee’s Fundraiser – RAMS Family Breakfast Social

            Time: 8AM @ Stonecrest Turner Hill Location

A committee member from the Applebee's Fundraiser planning team will be at the school after practice each day this week (between 6:30 - 7:00PM) to collect ticket money and/or distribute additional tickets if needed.

The flapjack breakfast is a family friendly event and the players will be able to earn service hours. 
Door and raffle prizes will be available!

Proceeds will go towards our annual football banquet.

Please turn in all ticket money by Friday, September 8th
PLAYER FEES:  ARE DUE IN FULL BY FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 8TH FOR ALL PLAYERS (NEW & RETURNING)
Financial status / commitment letters will be sent to players that owe a balance after September 8th.

PARENT MEETING:   Tuesday, September 19th @ 6:30 PM - AMHS Auditorium
Hurricane Harvey Relief Drive:  We have RAMNATION family members who have been impacted by the storm.  This hits close to home and because we are a football family who cares, let’s prepare to do what we can to assist with providing donations.   A list of items to donate and details will be provided within the next few days once finalized.   Please keep the families in prayer.

Arabia Mtn. builds on success

NEWS 

 

Knocking at the door: Arabia Mountain improved to 3-0 with a 46-6 win over Redan. The Rams have scored 135 points in three games and could be the next team to join the state rankings. But Arabia Mountain has a tough task next week with a trip to Dacula.
